Fantasy SidePot has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics. It reads public fantasy football data and stores what your league agrees on. That is the whole of it.
What the app stores on your device
- The Sleeper username you type in, so the app knows which manager is you.
- Your leagues' payout settings and challenge schedules, so they load without waiting.
- A cached copy of public NFL player names, positions and teams.
Deleting the app removes all of it.
What is shared with your league
A league's payout structure, its weekly challenge schedule and any winners recorded by hand are stored in Apple's iCloud, in a database belonging to this app, so that everyone in the league sees the same numbers. Anyone who can open that league in the app can read them. This is ordinary league information — buy-ins, prizes, who won a week. Do not put anything private in a custom challenge name.
What the app reads, and from where
- Sleeper (
api.sleeper.app) — public league, roster, matchup and player data. No login, no key, no personal data sent. - ESPN's public scoreboard — kickoff times and whether a game went to overtime, which two of the weekly challenges need. Nothing about you is sent.
- Apple iCloud — the shared league settings described above.
What is not collected
No advertising identifiers. No analytics or crash-reporting services. No location. No contacts. No email address. No payment information — the app tracks who owes what, it does not move money. Nothing is sold or shared with any third party, because nothing is collected to sell or share.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
Removing your data
Delete the app to remove everything held on your device. To remove a league's shared settings from iCloud, ask the commissioner who published them, or contact us and we will remove the record for that league.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the previous versions stay in the page's public history.
